Carribean Experience Continued in St.Lucia

After I had a real Carribean experience with vagus nerve during my first day, I stayed for about a week in St.Lucia.

As I mentioned ealier, I have a nice friendly host, Beverley, from whom I rent a house during my stay in this island. I shared the house with 3 other ladies. The house is in Rodney bay, I love the location, it was a quiet area and only about 15 minutes walking to the main street. In the morning, I always walked to the main street to get my tea at Rituals café or some green smoothies. And of course, I could collect 5-8 guys’ phone number on the way. Indeed, the guy in St.Lucia are mostly very keen to talk and get your phone number, that you have to be conscious about it.

In St.Lucia, there are many luxurious and chic resorts, which I do not dare to see their room price. The nice thing is that these resorts offer a day pass for people to come and enjoy the resort for a day. I did it at Calabash Cove Resort & Spa, which included 3 drinks, 3-courses lunch and 30 minutes massage. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the Caribbean sea, very open and light to ensure the peaceful feeling. It has its own private beach, to go there we walk passed a serene garden with some flowers here and there. We do need to climb the hill to go back but it is so peaceful. On the beach area, they have some hammocks, chairs and water trampoline. I couldn’t hide my smile on my face when I was there… feel like relaxing in heaven?

The nature pride of St.Lucia is the Gros Piton, 798 m high and its little brother Petit Piton. They are two beautiful peaks at the Caribbean side. We had a boat trip to Soufriere where we can enjoy both peaks on the way. At Soufriere, we did the mud bath experience, a special treatment for our skin and washed the mud at Diamond waterfall then snorkeling around Sugar Beach. We had so much fun! Also we had a helicopter tour of the island which gives an overview and beautiful view of the whole island! So we did from the water, sky and also from the land with island tour to see different places in the island, like Castries market, cassava bread bakery, chocolaterie and their charming villages.
