Back in April 2018, I did a 3 days trip to Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia. It was my very first trip since I am alone. I did this trip with some friends, so I was not that lonely. Honestly, it was not an easy trip at all but the beauty and the hospitality of this city had cheered up my time there and enjoyed the trip.

Gdansk is the city on the north of Poland at the Gulf of Gdansk, as part of the Baltic Sea. It was a rich city from the architecture point of view and being close to the water which makes the city view always unique, to my opinion. This city has quite a black history as well in the past but all together makes this city interesting to visit.

There are another 2 cities close by, that can be reached easily from Gdansk by train: Sopot and Gdynia, both are on the Gulf of Gdansk, North East from Gdansk. Gdynia is more a harbour city with big ships, while Sopot has a long pier to stroll along the sea.

The other site that I do not want to miss was Malbork Castle, which is one of the many UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is a large area of castle complex from red bricks, the whole castle is now museum part that suppose us with different histories of the castle and partly North Poland history.

One last thing but not least, you can get good food and cheap too!
