Visiting this city was part of my journey to Avila, to be exact October, 22nd 2018. I took a train from Avila passing a distance about 110 km to the west. Using my broken Spanish I could get around and also get what I want.

I went to the university tower the cathedral and its tower. Then I took the little train for a tour around the city. Before going back by train, I ate my lunch: Paella at Plaza Major with the view of this magnificent city hall of Salamanca. The weather was sunny and nice, not too hot but ok.

Traveling alone can be nice too and if I feel like talking to someone, just do it. There are people around and just be humble & sweet… It feels good afterwards.
