Touch of Belize

Yes, I was in Belize now from July 6th-18th, 2019. I stayed in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. It is about 1 hour boat ride or 20 minutes flying from Belize city.

In this island, there were not so many cars but golf car everywhere you can rent.

I flu to Belize from LA, a midnight flight that arrived around 5 AM in Belize city. From the airport, after breakfast, we went directly to get Mayan culture introduction, Altun Ha. It is a new site and due to the vegetation, nobody knows that there were temples there and people even took some stones to build their house. It was only 9.AM but it was quite hot, it was the first introduction to Belizian heat, I believed.

Then we went to chill out at Bacab Eco park. This park has swimming pool with slides, a good restaurant (rice and beans plus plantain). It also offers horse back riding to the jungle around and kayak. They have some animals, Iguana’s chilled place, a crocodile who lives in the lake with some cat fish and also some native plants, like black orchid.

In the afternoon, we flu with a small plane from Mayan air to San Pedro in Ambergris Caye where we’re staying for the next 12 days...
